Shoulder Pain & Rotator Cuff

Pain and stiffness in the shoulder joint are common complaints in our Jackson, MI chiropractic office. Shoulder pain is evaluated and treated every day in our office. The shoulder is capable of many movements. The shoulder is a complex ball and socket joint. What makes the shoulder unique is that its support, stability, and integrity depend on muscles rather than bones or ligaments.

The group of muscles known as the rotator cuff are the most commonly involved when shoulder complaints present to our office. Minor tears in any of these muscles can cause significant pain and restriction in the shoulder.

At our office, we use a combination of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue massage, cryotherapy, and trigger point therapy to diagnose and effectively treat shoulder conditions.
